This was the first evening of this year's season of ''Jazz on the Lake' evenings and was well supported. lt became quite chilly later on in the evening and we kept having to stop and go inside to get warm.  Dave Edwards came along as our guest singer and gave us some delightful renditions of some of the old standards.

I did have a few discipline problems with Dave Silk and Dave Trigwell - I just couldn't stop them talking.  However, I must say it is really great that we get on so well - it really does help with the music.
